The Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, formally swore in members of the State Executive Council in 2025, marking a significant step in strengthening governance and service delivery across key ministries.
Among those inaugurated was Dr. Yangjien Ornguga, who was appointed as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice and Public Order.
The swearing-in ceremony, held at the Government House in Makurdi, brought together top government officials, stakeholders, and dignitaries. During the event, the Governor charged the newly appointed commissioners to uphold transparency, accountability, and dedication in the discharge of their duties.
